| 英文描述 | MATRICARIA NIGELLIFOLIA DC. (ASTERACEAE) is a plant which causes encephalitis in cattle in Africa. Signs appear after a latent period of 16-44 days, and a total dose of 10g/kg was toxic. Outbreaks have occurred in South Africa. Histology shows microgliosis, perivascular lymphocytic infiltration, and reactive changes in astrocytes, mainly in the white matter. Dx by dietary history. |
